ChmPages allows you to read Compiled HTML Help(.chm) files. It comes with easy to use, intuitive interface, with sidebar for quick navigation on content or index, with search in entire document or find on current page, with improved automatic document encodig detection, with bookmarks for future references to, with customizable toolbar, with full screen support, with printing of current reading page and more.
And last but not least, it contains QuickLok plugin to get an idea of document content without actually opening it.
ChmPages was designed to make the most of your interactions with Compiled HTML Help documents easy, intuitive and fun. To give you an idea of the possibilities, the overall process of work with ChmPages is described here.
A very first step to view Compiled HTML Help document contents is open it. In ChmPages, you can open Compiled HTML Help file as usual, from File menu item, or directly in Finder by double click on it. If you just start ChmPage it will try to load last opened document and if there is no such a file it will ask you to select one.
ChmPages stores some information in its preferences about opened file, to make it possible to restore window size, preffered text size, bookmarks for selected file. And if such information exist for selected file, ChmPages will apply it when opening that file.
The ChmPages Toolbar is the top bar on every page you see in opened file. From any page, it allows easy access to some navigation commands and more.
Show the Home Page. Allows you access to the homepage of the document. |

Show the Previous Page. Allows you navigate to the previous page in navigation history. |

Show the Next Page. Allows you navigate to the next page in navigation history. |

Show/Hide Sidebar. Allows you to show or hide the sidebar with contents and/or index of the document. |

Bookmarks. Allows you access to the bookmarks of the document. |
The ChmPages sidebar allows you access contents and/or index of the document, of course only if they are available. To switch between contents and index, you can use sidebar selector.
ChmPages allows you to search in entire document, or find some text on displayed page.
To search something in document, as usual, just enter string in a search field.
To find text on a current page, use Edit menu item or shortcut keyboard combination Cmd+F and enter text you want to find on that page.
Bookmarks allows you to mark some pages for future references to. To make bookmark of a page, you can right click on it, to get context menu, and select "Bookmark the Page".
To edit bookmarks you should use "Bookmarks" toolbar item.
Currently, only selected page printing is supported. To print selected page, you can make use of "Print" menu item.
